The Model United Nations began as an extra-curricular activity in 2016 at Riada American School.  RASMUN began with six students, who were interested in learning more about international issues and global affairs.  Attending their first conference as an official team, they were successful and inspired to host a RASMUN conference. The first official conference to be held was in 2020.
